Riverlife Church
Church · Baptist
Riverlife Church is a multi-ethnic congregation in south Austin, meeting at 6709 Circle S Road and sharing that address with the older Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In its own words it is "a multi-ethnic church based in Austin TX, reaching the nations in the city of Austin", and "at the heart of our ministry is the preaching and teaching of God's Word as well as training through discipleship." The congregation states three aims: the salvation of sinners, the sanctification of saints and service to its Savior. Its own summary of what it believes is that "Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God, sent into the world, he died on the cross to pay ransom for our sin, was buried, rose again after three days, and ascended to heaven", and its fuller articles set out the Bible as God's inspired revelation and one God eternally existing in three distinct persons. It gathers for worship on Sundays and publishes its sermons weekly.
