Corrections
We are not the authority on the church in Austin. We are one group of people trying to see it clearly, and we get things wrong. When we do, we want the correction more than we want to look right, and this page is how you give it to us.
How to tell us
Every record on this site carries a quiet “Suggest a correction” link, on the division pages and on the record's own page. That link is the best door: it already knows which record you are looking at, so you never have to type an ID or spell a name exactly. If you would rather start here, the same form is below.

What happens next
Every submission is reviewed by a person within thirty days. That is a commitment, not an aspiration. Nothing you submit changes the site directly: a correction goes into a review queue, gets verified against public sources the same way every record was verified in the first place, and reaches the site through the next monthly rebuild after it is accepted.
What under review means
When we accept a correction for consideration and the right answer is not yet clear, the record says so: “A correction to this record is under review” appears on its page and beside its listing until we resolve it. It means someone has raised a question we take seriously, not that the record is wrong, and we would rather show you the state of our knowledge than pretend to a certainty we do not have. A record can also be withheld from publication entirely while a question is resolved or at an organization's request.
What we will not do
We never publish who suggested a correction, and submissions never write to the live database. No leader's personal information appears on this site, so corrections about people are handled privately rather than published. The methodology explains how records are gathered and verified in the first place.
