Young Life
Network or citywide ministry · Regional/National Ministry
Young Life is a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school, and college students, stating its mission as introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith. Founded in 1941 and present in Austin since 1968, it works through volunteer leaders who build relationships with students in their own settings, weekly club meetings, small-group discipleship, and camps. Its Austin-area work is organized as autonomous local areas across the metro, each independently funded, with specialized branches for students with disabilities, teen mothers, and college students.
