Union Hall Baptist Church

Church · Baptist

Union Hall Baptist Church is an independent Baptist congregation at Seward Junction Loop in Liberty Hill, Texas, founded in 1888. It describes itself in its own words as "independent, fundamental, traditional Baptist" and states that "the King James Version of the Bible shall be the official and only translation used in the church for all teaching and preaching." Its published statement of faith affirms the Scriptures as "verbally and plenary inspired" and "inerrant, infallible and God-breathed"; "one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit"; and that Jesus Christ "became man, without ceasing to be God" and "accomplished our redemption through his death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice," with justification made sure by his "literal, physical resurrection from the dead." It holds a dispensational reading of Scripture and a pre-tribulational return of Christ. Sundays include a morning fellowship, Sunday school and morning and evening services, with a midweek Bible study and prayer meeting alongside children's and teen programs and a missions emphasis.
