Church · Baptist

Trinity Baptist Church is an independent Baptist congregation on Forbes Drive in northeast Austin, Texas, founded in 1953. It uses the King James Version exclusively and gathers for Sunday morning and afternoon worship with groups for all ages, and for a midweek prayer meeting and Bible study. In its own words its vision is that all might "Know Jesus, Follow Jesus, Grow together, Serve others, Impact eternity," and its stated purpose is "KNOW JESUS. MAKE HIM KNOWN." Its published beliefs affirm the Bible as the inspired and preserved Word of God, one God who "manifests Himself to man in the Trinity as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit," and Jesus Christ as "God in the flesh and the only Saviour of mankind," who "resurrected bodily and ascended into Heaven." It describes discipleship as a three-step process of believing in Jesus, following him in baptism, and connecting with a family of believers through its connect groups, and it supports church partnerships and church planting locally and around the world.
