The Worship Place - Sun City Campus
Church · Non-Denominational/Independent
The Worship Place is an interdenominational church in the Sun City community of Georgetown, begun in 1998 so that residents of all denominations could gather for worship without leaving the immediate area. In its own words its mission is to "Go, make disciples, baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; teach them to observe all that Jesus commanded," and its vision is "Making 3,000 disciples to serve every neighborhood in Sun City." It describes itself as "an active senior adult church family with a passion for life and Jesus," and holds traditional, contemporary and blended services on Sunday mornings.
