Talking Hands Bible Church
Church · Baptist
Talking Hands Bible Church is a Deaf congregation that worships in American Sign Language on Sunday afternoons, meeting at New Hope Baptist Church on State Highway 80 in San Marcos, Texas. In its own words, “We are Southern Baptists but we try to be nontraditional because of the practice in the early church,” and “We speak in the totally American Sign Language, however, we have a few vocal interpreters for the hearing attendees.” Its published beliefs affirm one triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the deity, atoning death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
