The largest provider of homeless services in Travis County, operating a day center in south Austin since 2015 and serving more than 5,500 individuals a year across four integrated programs: a day center offering humanitarian aid, meals, medical and mental health care, mail, identification, showers, benefits enrollment and coordinated housing assessments, averaging 300 people a day; a round-the-clock homelessness hotline; a street outreach program; and a permanent supportive housing team. More than a thousand clients have been housed to date. Its legal name is Sunrise Community Church.
