St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church is a Missionary Baptist congregation meeting on North Lamar Boulevard in north Austin, Texas. Its own history dates its founding to 1866 in the Peach Creek community of Rosanky, in Bastrop County, where it says the congregation was organized under a tree, and records that its primary location moved to Austin after 2007 while members who chose to remain continue to worship at the Rosanky-Peach Creek site. It calls itself "The Church That Looks to the Hills" and states its mission as to "Find them, bring them in, grow them up and send them out."
