Southwest Family Fellowship is a Pentecostal congregation in southwest Austin, on Highway 71, that describes itself as an interdenominational church affiliated with the Assemblies of God. It began in the fall of 2003 when a core group of twenty-four gathered, met at a movie theatre in Barton Creek for its first six years, and acquired its current property in 2009. Its stated slogan is "Belong Before You Believe," reaching young families is a stated priority, and most adults in the congregation meet weekly in small groups in homes across the city.
