Simple Sparrow Care Farm

A trauma-informed care farm in Hutto that combines therapeutic and educational programming with hands-on farming for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Its model is rooted in creation stewardship theology and delivered through a trauma-informed lens. Those it serves include veterans, foster and adoptive families, trafficking survivors, court-ordered young people, and people with trauma, neurodivergence or addiction histories. Programs include on-site counseling with partnering licensed therapists, farm education, therapeutic volunteer programs, and a therapy clinic offering free and reduced-cost services across eastern Williamson County. Established in 2017.
