An Episcopal seminary in Austin, established in 1952 by the Rt. It forms lay and ordained leaders through master's degrees in divinity and in clinical mental health counselling alongside other professional programmes, collaborating with diocesan authorities and following canonical requirements for those seeking ordination in the Episcopal Church, and offering a one-year Diploma in Anglican Studies for clergy coming from other traditions. It is one of only two Episcopal seminaries west of the Mississippi River.
