Round Rock Baptist Church

Church · Baptist

Round Rock Baptist Church is an independent Baptist congregation meeting at the Old Settler's Tabernacle on East Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock, Texas, founded on November 14, 2004. It describes itself in its own words as "an Independent Baptist Church committed to sharing the Gospel and serving our community" and states that it believes "the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is our sole authority for what we believe and how we live," holding to the King James Bible, to the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and to baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper as ordinances of obedience rather than of salvation. It states that its only requirements for membership are salvation and baptism by immersion, and it makes, in its own words, "no apology for our conservative beliefs in many areas, including music, social issues, dress, and behavior." The congregation gathers for Sunday school and morning and evening services on Sunday and for a Bible study on Wednesday evening.
