River Valley Church is a congregation on State Highway 71 West in Bastrop, Texas, founded in 2006 and known formally as River Valley Christian Fellowship. It met in seven different locations before completing its current worship center in December 2019. In its own words it is about one thing, 'reaching, helping, connecting people to Jesus,' and it describes itself as 'a non-denominational church in Bastrop, TX.' Its published beliefs affirm the Bible as 'the inspired Word of God,' 'one God who exists in three persons,' and Jesus as 'fully God and fully human' who 'lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again.' The congregation gathers for three Sunday morning services and carries kids, students, groups, care and prayer, and outreach ministries.
