Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is a Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ congregation at Wuthrich Hill, northeast of Taylor, organized in 1894 by German and Swiss settlers as St. James Evangelical Lutheran Congregation and taking its present name in 1948 when it joined with the New Bern congregation. Its stated mission is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ as revealed through its heritage and reflected in its hope for the future, with Sunday worship at 9:00 am.
