Open Door Baptist Church is an independent Baptist congregation in Liberty Hill, in western Williamson County, meeting at a County Road 214 address it moved to in 2024 from an earlier site on State Highway 29. It holds Sunday school and morning worship, a Sunday afternoon service, and a Wednesday evening prayer meeting and Bible study. Its published statement of faith is long and detailed: it affirms the verbal and plenary inspiration and the inerrancy of Scripture and uses the King James Version as the church's only translation, reads Scripture dispensationally, and affirms the Trinity, the virgin birth, the substitutionary death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, salvation by grace through faith, the eternal security of believers, and a pre-tribulational return of Christ. It holds that the sign gifts were temporary, that the local church is autonomous and free of outside affiliation, and that the Genesis account of creation is literal history.
