Network or citywide ministry · Regional/National Ministry
The National Cursillo Center in Jarrell is the United States headquarters of the Cursillo Movement, a Catholic lay renewal movement organized on a national basis in the United States in 1965. In its own words, the movement attempts from within the Church to give life to the essential Christian truths, facilitating the living and sharing of what is fundamental to being Christian through a discovery of three fundamental encounters: with oneself, with Christ, and with others. Its method centers on a three-day weekend followed by a continuing rhythm of piety, study, and action.
