Mt Olive Baptist Church is a historically Black Baptist congregation on Mt Olive Road in Cedar Creek, Texas, in rural Bastrop County southeast of Austin. African American citizens of Bastrop established it in 1874, meeting first in a brush arbor, and in 1909 the congregation bought three acres for its building; from 1897 until consolidation with Bastrop in 1957 the Elm Grove School shared the building, and Mount Olive Evergreen Cemetery lies northeast of it. The site carries a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark marker awarded in 2008.
