Lake Travis Crisis Ministries
Nonprofit · Resource Connection & Distribution
An entirely volunteer-run, ecumenical faith-founded nonprofit serving families in crisis within the Lake Travis school district boundaries through food pantry distributions, emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities, and referrals. It began in 1988 in a small church helping single mothers with food and now serves thousands of families a year. Rooted in Matthew 25, its stated mission is to love and honour neighbours as Christ loves us, and it operates from a church campus in Lakeway with support from local churches, businesses, civic organisations and foundations.
