Jeevan Church is a multi-language Indian diaspora congregation in Leander, Texas, gathering on Sunday afternoons and livestreaming its service. Its own account dates its beginning to Christmas Day, December 25, 2021, when, in its own words, its story began "with a simple but powerful desire: to see people experience the life that Jesus came to give." Jeevan, the congregation explains, means "Life." It describes itself as "a Spirit-filled, Christ-centered, Bible-believing church" and as "part of the Assemblies of God tradition," and it gathers worshippers across English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi among other languages, seeking to reach the Indian diaspora of Central Texas in a church where people can worship while "celebrating the richness of their language, culture, and heritage." Its published beliefs confess one God who "eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit"; Jesus Christ as "fully God and fully man," who "died on the cross for our sins, and rose again from the dead"; and the Bible as "the inspired Word of God, trustworthy and true." It also affirms the baptism in the Holy Spirit and "the biblical expression of spiritual gifts."
