Church · Lutheran

Gethsemane Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on the north side of Austin near the intersection of Interstate 35 and Highway 183, founded in 1868. It describes itself as historic and multigenerational, called by grace and led by faith, a community where faith and friendships are nurtured and where there is no dress code, and says in its own words that it opens its doors "to all who may have been excluded because of sexual orientations, gender identities/expressions, race, economic status, ability, age, or station in life." Sunday school is at 9:30 and worship at 10:30.
