Part of State of the City, the Greater Austin Mission Society's public record of the church in the Austin metro.

Freedom Temple Pentecostal Church is an Apostolic Pentecostal congregation founded in Austin in 2012 as a daughter congregation of Eastwood Pentecostal Church. Its stated aim is "to be an Apostolic Church in principle, practice, and power," and it operates Freedom Temple Outreach Ministries, a nonprofit established in 2017 that runs a food pantry and life-skills courses in central Austin. Services at its South Congress Avenue location are suspended while the congregation seeks a permanent home, with Sunday worship continuing at its Georgetown and Elgin locations.
