For the City is an initiative of The Austin Stone, established in 2009, that mobilizes, trains, and supports disciples, leaders, and congregations to serve Austin through mercy and justice. Its work spans child welfare, education, family support, homeless and immigrant care, anti-trafficking, disaster response, and prisoner care, in partnership with local nonprofits, churches, and organizations.
