Faith Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in north central Austin, founded in 1950. Among its stated proclamations are Christ crucified and risen, salvation by grace rather than by works, the Unaltered Augsburg Confession as a true witness to the Gospel, and, in its own words, "our Lord's words of forgiveness, welcome, and love for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, or sexual orientation." The congregation operates a child development center that began as a ministry of the church in 1961.
