A Faith in Action program, formerly Far Northwest Caregivers, providing free volunteer-driven transportation and support to people aged sixty and over in northwest Austin, Cedar Park and Leander so they can live independently at home for longer. Volunteers provide more than 6,700 rides a year to medical appointments, grocery stores and personal errands, alongside handyman help, friendly visits and a twice-monthly social program with a shared meal. It is a coalition of local congregations, community groups and neighbours, established in 1986.
